About Me

Passionate Social Agripreneur | Agricultural Science Educator | Founder of Smart Agripreneurs’ Academy
I am a passionate Social Agripreneur, dedicated Agricultural Science Educator, and the visionary founder of Smart Agripreneurs’ Academy — a purpose-driven social impact start-up based in The Gambia. My mission is simple yet transformative: to rebrand agriculture and promote agripreneurship education that inspires young people to become active, empowered players in the agri-food system.
With years of experience teaching Agricultural Science at the senior secondary school level, I’ve witnessed the urgent need to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world agricultural practice. My work is deeply rooted in redefining agriculture — from a career of last resort to a first-choice path full of purpose, innovation, and opportunity.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education (Agriculture) from the University of The Gambia, and I am currently advancing my expertise through a Master’s in Agribusiness Management at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), Malawi.
Through Smart Agripreneurs’ Academy, I am committed to empowering 10,000 young people by 2030 — nurturing a new generation of agripreneurs and changemakers who will drive sustainable development, strengthen food security, and lead the transformation of Africa’s agri-food systems.
